Tense shoulders. Clenched jaw.
Shallow breath.
These are not failures.
They are your body speaking —
in the only language it knows.
This practice teaches you to listen.
Your body has been sending this signal.
Let it finally be heard.
Place two fingers just below your ears —
the jaw joint. Massage in slow circles.
Let your mouth fall slightly open.
Let your tongue rest, weightless.
On each exhale, make a soft "aaaah" sound.
Release what words never could.
Inhale deeply and lift your shoulders
all the way up.
Hold them there — tense, high, tight.
Then on the exhale — drop.
Let the weight you've been carrying
leave your body with each release.
Place one hand on your chest.
Place the other on your belly.
As you inhale — let only the belly rise.
Your chest stays almost still.
This is the breath of safety.
The breath of the present moment.
The breath of someone who is home.
Close your eyes between each area.
Do not try to fix anything.
Simply observe. Simply notice.
Not for how it looks — but for what it does.
Thank it for three things it did for you today.
Your body has been waiting for this.
Not to be fixed, pushed, or judged —
but to be heard.
Tension is not a malfunction.
It is a love letter from your body
that was never opened.
You opened it today.
